Two rounds of peacebuilders' talks

Two rounds of peacebuilders' talks

A month ago I had the opportunity to moderate two round table conversations with small groups of international peacebuilders. They had all come to Davao in the southern Philippines to participate in the annual training program of the Mindanao Peacebuilding Institute (MPI).

One group consisted of first timers to the MPI training, whereas the other group was made up of MPI alumni. They interacted on topics related to their work — challenges, drivers, successes — and reasons to participate in the annual training.

I enjoyed the experience and hearing the stories of these ordinary people doing extraordinary things in their respective countries. Those being: Syria, Philippines, Indonesia, Japan, India, and Laos.

Not only did I moderate the conversations, I also made write-ups which have been published on the MPI website. Just click on the banners below and let me know what you think of the stories!
